Recent work

Kate is an award-winning audio producer, director, sound engineer, sound designer and sound editor. She has won Audiobook Producer of the Year twice at the 2024 and 2025 APAs. Among audiobooks she also works on audio dramas, podcasts and mixing and mastering for commercial work. She has also worked on podcasts including Lawpod UK and BBC's Evil Genius.

She is a regular director and sound engineer for clients including Audible, Penguin Random House, DK, Bloomsbury, working on complicated and specialised projects including audio dramas, podcasts, and on site or tricky recording set ups. Both technically and creatively proficient, Kate can be thrown into any situation or studio and make talent feel calm and produce award-winning audio. Post production work has included being the Sound Editor for BBC's Evil Genius podcast, an editor for Ladbroke Audio, and sound designer for DK audiobooks.

She has also worked adapting scripts for sound design and drama and podcast pre-production, casting and prep work for hundreds of audiobooks.
