Kate is a multi-genre composer and producer working across all forms of media, working as a director, sound engineer, composer and production manager.
Since 2020 she has been a producer and composer working across different audio formats including audiobooks, audio dramas, and advert campaigns for TV, podcast and radio.
Kate's work has featured on international marketing campaigns such as Bill Gates' How To Prevent The Next Pandemic (2022), and national radio and podcast campaigns such as Richard Osman's Thursday Murder Club (2020) and David Attenborough's A Life on Our Planet (2020).
She has a huge roster of work across various genres and project types including music for young listeners (James Acaster's rendition of James and the Giant Peach (2022), Emma Thompson's Jim's Spectacular Christmas (2022), Nathan Bryon's Listen Up! collection (2023)), as well as Sci-Fi projects (a 3 hour electronic music score for Judge Anderson: Shamballa (2022), sweeping electro-classical 5 hour scoring for Nemesis the Warlock (2022), and a heavy metal score for Judge Dredd vs Death (2022)) and many Crime scores (None of This Is True (Lisa Jewell, 2023), True Crime Story (Joseph Knox, 2021), The Ugly Truth (L.C North 2023) and more).
She has just finished the score and sound design for her first short film, Devil Root (Asparagus Productions, 2024).
She is also a regular live performer, as a singer and trumpet player, and is the front woman of feminist punk band, Twat Union.
